Better sleep starts
at the table.

We spend roughly a third of our lives sleeping. But when it comes to getting better rest, what happens during the other two-thirds matters, too.

Especially what’s on your plate.

As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and sleep nutrition expert, Karman Meyer has spent years exploring the connection between food and sleep.

Her approach turns sleep science into simple, enjoyable habits that support better sleep without taking the joy out of food.

Your guide to eating well and sleeping better.

Karman explores the connection between nutrition and sleep through 50 sleep-supporting foods, practical lifestyle strategies, a two-week meal plan, and 25 recipes designed to make eating for better rest both approachable and enjoyable.

Karman’s career has taken her from clinical nutrition to corporate consulting, national media, brand partnerships, hundreds of cooking demonstrations, and even her own PBS special.

Early in her career, while working with older adults and individuals experiencing mental health and sleep challenges, she became increasingly curious about the connection between food and sleep.

That curiosity eventually led to the publication of Eat to Sleep and years spent researching, speaking, and teaching about sleep nutrition.
